Emerson 38 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1935)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Emerson 38 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a beautiful, all original Emerson that maintains its original factory piano-like finish in walnut cabinet. Original grille cloth, knobs, dial, and even original wooden back which is almost never present on these little gems. I see no Ingraham tag, but it definitely has the Ingraham influence as you can tell by its roly-poly waterfall top and intricate grille cut-outs as well as contoured sides with ornate trim pieces that match the bottom trim. This is just one of the nicest you will ever see and ready for play or display. This is a nice performing radio; it has been fully restored. The Emerson model 38 was advertised in 1935 as a dual wave AC-DC Superheterodyne set with a "Duo-Lite Band Switching circuit." And touted as "One of the leaders in the line of The Worlds Biggest Selling Little Radios." Recent restore playing as it should. It is a six-tube, two-band set. Small at only 12"W x 10"H x 7"D.
