THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Very small and highly collectible almond Mid-Century (1953) Zenith portable known as "Owl Eyes." It is a four-tuber and plays well picking up all my local stations and beyond. So small it can easily be held in one hand. In excellent cosmetic condition showing normal wear on bottom (see photos) with just a couple of flea-bites in paint, but beautiful display and plays very well. The handle isn't broken, a common occurrence on this radio, but there is a little 3/4" stress that may/may not show in pic (very small) and hard to see even in person, but wanted to mention. The "Zenith" lettering on the handle is also in super original condition as are station lettering around knobs. Simply a "cutie.. The metal inserts are still inside the knobs. Cord looks like new. About 6-1/2"W x 4-1/2"H x 4"D. |
