Atwater Kent 356 Tombstone (1935)

Atwater Kent 356 Tombstone (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Here is a beautiful example of an AK tombstone that doesn't come up for sale often. It represents AK's best in styling. Beautiful use of multi-woods including bird's-eye maple over grille area. The finish, knobs, grille cloth, dial, speaker and all is all original. Stunning use of fluting and trim + waterfall top/sides. Great looking lighted dial with the AK name and model number clearly marked. This is a three-band, six-tube super-het that has been recently restored electronically replacing all caps and needed resistors, etc. It plays loud and clear on the short antenna. Also a very clean shiny chassis as you can see. 18-1/2"H x 13"W x 8-1/2"D.
