THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This beautiful radio was made circa 1945 by The Sentinel Radio Corp. of Evanston, Illinois. It is a very lightly marbleized sand and butterscotch Catalin. It has oxidized quite evenly. The lighter toned original knobs and grille area give it a two-toned distinctive look and makes it "pop" in most any decor. The "Wavy Grille" Sentinel is quite the work of art. It's a stunning example with no cracks, repairs, burns nor repairs. The grill cloth and back are also original. Another unique fact is the chassis is mounted upside down. It is an "All-American Five" and was recently electronically restored and plays very well. |
