Here is a Zenith "Big Dial" six-tube AM & Shortwave Radio in excellent original finish. The fronts of these radios are done in a faux woodgrain, and most are not in great shape, but this one is an exception. This six-tube radio has AM, 2.0-8.0 MHz and 8-24 MHz shortwave. This set has a lot going for it. Big Gold dial, large brass escutcheon, four "Z" Zenith knobs, five pushbutton presets, and curved left side with molded trim over the speaker. This set is in wonderful condition with one chip repair on the left back edge, and one chipped "Z" knob. There are a couple marks on the top, but truly exception shape for this set. Tom Romano of Tom's Antique Radio & TV repaired this one for me in 2005. On test while I sit here, it played AM well for me, and I can pick up Short wave chatter. You'll need a outdoor antenna if you want to DX shortwave. 18"W x 11-1/2"H x 9"D.
