Silvertone radios sold!

Silvertone 6177 (1939)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Silvertone 6177 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is another great Machine Age design! This Silvertone Bullet is the smallest of the Bullet radio designs. I believe Detrola made these for Sears to market under the Silvertone brand. The shiny mottled brown Bakelite cabinet has no cracks or chips, and still retains its original back and internal antenna. This set was repaired by my old tech friend Tom Romano of Tom's Antique Radio & TV back in 2002 before he passed away. It still plays well when tested. 9"W x 5"H x 4-1/2"D.
