Vintage collectable Emerson Model 561 AM six-tube table radio. What a nice piece of radio history here. The radio works good, and receives lots of AM Broadcast radio stations across the entire dial. The audio is clear. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, or dents. This radio comes from a long time collector. I did replace the filter caps, replaced the power cord with a polarized plug, tested all tubes, and retuned all circuits. Emerson did a nice job with the styling, with the gold trimming. The Bakelite cabinet is clean and shiny. There is an internal loop antenna for AM reception. There is a pig tail wire to extend the antenna for DX reception.
