THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Vintage Channel Master model 6512 dual band AM/Shortwave radio. Restored with all brand new electrolytic capacitors, and other components, as needed. Tuned all circuits. Installed new heavy duty 9 volt battery clip, and a new four-"AA" battery holder. Radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). This is a real receiver. It receives lots of standard AM broadcast radio stations across the entire am band. The short wave band covers 3.9 MHZ to 12 MHZ. I was able to pick up many different kinds of SW stations including Hams. I did this with the internal bar antenna. There are inputs for a telescoping antenna and long wire antenna. The audio is clear, and goes to full volume. The radio is clean inside and out. There are no chips, cracks,or dents. Radio comes with leather case. 6"W x 3-1/2"H x 1-3/4"D. Shipping flat rate $13.00 Domestic only. |
