Vintage collectable restored 1958 Zenith Royal 500D eight-transistor big pocket radio chassis no. 8AT40Z2. What a great representation of the late 50's era transistor radio. This is very nice, working with clear audio, goes to full volume, and receives lots of AM broadcast stations from long distances. I had to replace all of the electrolytic capacitors with brand new stock. Checked all the transistors, and cleaned all the leads. Tuned all electronic circuits. Cleaned the entire radio inside, and out. There is no rust or corrosion in the battery compartment. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). There are no chips,cracks, or dents in this radio, just normal wear. The stand does have some blemishes I could not get off. Shipping: Flat rate $14 domestic only. Radio will be packaged properly as usual.
