I am offering this nice restored by me vintage 1959 Channel Master 6514 AM/Marine band eight-transistor radio. Restored this radio with all brand new electrolytic capacitors, new battery holder, new battery connector, and other new parts as needed. This radio performs great on both bands. Receives lots of AM broadcast radio stations across the entire band 540 KHZ to 1600KHZ. I received lots of shortwave stations including Hams, WWV, CHU,and other foreign stations from 1.8 MHZ to 4.2 MHZ. I even got Gander radio. The audio on this radio is strong, and clear on all frequencies, and bands. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). The new battery clip is a heavy duty clip to be used with the battery case only. This radio should never be used with 9 volt battery. This radio is clean inside and out. There is one chip in the top left rear. The rest of the radio is clear of any chips, cracks, or dents. Shipping: Flat rate $12 Domestic only. I package all radios properly to make a safe trip. |
