Nice working Yaesu dual band VHF/UHF handheld digital transceiver with wide band coverage. Radio receives from 0.5 Mhz to 16 Mhz. This covers the AM broadcast band, 160 meter ham band, 40 meter, 20 meter, and other ham frequencies. The FM band is also included. The Vhf band has the aircraft, public, and WX bands. This is a transceiver, which means it will transmit on three of the amateur ham bands: 2-meters, 220, and 440. You must have an amateur F.C.C. ham license. This radio is in full operative condition and comes with the following. 1. Yaesu VX-5R handheld Radio 2. Yaesu NC-16 charger, and NC-72B power pack 3. Mfj Telescoping antenna with f to BNC converter 4. SU-1 Barometric pressure sensor unit installed 5. Yaesu VX-5R Operators manual and schematics. I am the original owner of this radio.
