| Restored Channel Master AM/SW eight-transistor radio with leather case. This radio receives lots of AM broadcast radio stations on the AM band. It receives Short Wave on 3.8 MHZ to 12 MHZ. I was able to receive CHU Canada on 7850 KHZ, Hams on 3.8, and 7.0 to 7.2 MHZ, and many more foreign stations across the band with the internal antenna. This is a daytime, and early evening band. I replaced all the electrolytic caps with brand new ones. I also replaced the battery connector, and holder with new stock. I retuned the circuits, cleaned the volume control, and cleaned this radio inside, and out. There are no chips, cracks, or dents in the plastic. The audio is clear, and goes to full volume. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included). Add $8 for domestic shipping. |
