THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Restored Channel Master eight-transistor radio with leather case. This radio has two bands: AM broadcast, and SW (old Marine band). It receives lots of AM broadcast radio stations across the entire AM band. The Marine band is a nighttime SW band now. It covers 1.8 MHZ to 4.2 MHZ. I was able to receive CHU Canada on 3330 KHZ, Hams on 3.5 to 4.0 MHZ, and 160 meter band 1.7 MHz to 2.0 mhz. WWV on 2.5 MHZ, and many foreign broadcast stations with the internal antenna. I do not have the external telescoping antenna for these radios. I restored this radio with brand new electrolytic caps, battery clip, and battery holder. I retuned the circuits and cleaned the volume control. I also cleaned the radio inside, and out. The audio is clear, and goes to full volume. This radio requires four "AA" batteries (not included).
