THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Truetone was the house brand for Western Auto stores and this model from 1936 has AM band and two short wave bands. The six-tube chassis has been restored be replacing all wax and electrolytic capacitors, tubes and resistors checked and alignment peaked. Nice sensitivity but does need an external long wire antenna. The cabinet was refinished with period correct lacquer toners and a semi-gloss finish. 18"W x 10"H x 10"D.
