Here is an unusual model by Corona Radio Mfg. of Chicago around 1937. The six-tube chassis has three bands: AM, short wave and the obsolete police band. All wax paper and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced, resistors and tubes checked and alignment peaked. The tuning eye tube is new and a fuse was added to protect the power transformer. Cabinet restoration was done with period correct toners and a semi-gloss lacquer. Needs long wire antenna for reception. 19"W x 10"H x 9"D. |
