Detrola 148 (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Detrola 148 (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The huge colorful dial is definitely an eye catcher on this three-band 1937 Detrola. The seven-tube chassis has been restored by replacing all capacitors, out of value resistors, checked tubes and a voltage dropping resistor in place of the original resistor cloth power cord. The cabinet has been refinished with period correct lacquer toners and a semi gloss finish. The dial is a reproduction. Plays very well with good sensitivity. 16"W x 13"H x 8"D.
