Here is one thats not seen too often. Made by Allied Radio Corp. in 1941, this two-band Knight has a restored six-tube chassis. All electrolytic and wax paper capacitors were changed, tubes and resistors checked and alignment reset. The Bakelite cabinet has a repaired crack on the left side and was coated with lacquer to hide heavy oxidation. AM band plays well with the internal loop antenna, short wave band needs to have a long wire antenna attached for good reception. 11"W x 8"H x 6"D. |
