RCA R71 (1932)

RCA R71 (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
Very impressive RCA tombstone from 1932, restored to stunning condition. The eight-tube chassis is AM band only, has all new wax/paper capacitors and a new cloth power cord. All resistors were checked and replaced if necessary, and the set was aligned for peak performance. The original speaker cone has been modified, I assume to increase flexibility for sound improvement. The cabinet was refinished with lacquer toners and a semi-gloss clear then hand rubbed, and the grille cloth was replaced with a close original pattern. This is a very heavy radio to ship.
