Here is a nice six-tube superheterodyne design with a tuned RF stage. It has a very attractively lighted dial. This radio has excellent sensitivity and is good at pulling in distant stations for fun "DXing" at night! A provision is made for an external antenna to be connected at the back for even better reception. This radio has been electronically restored. All electrolytic and wax/paper capacitors have been replaced. Tubes replaced as needed, resistors checked for tolerance. A new cord has been installed for safety, as the original was becoming stiff. This radio is ready to go!
