This West German radio covers both AM and FM. It was manufactured on August 27 of 1957 as marked under the chassis. The radio has been fully serviced including replacement of the original selenium rectifier with a reliable silicon diode and is ready for safe and reliable daily operation. The sound quality on both AM and FM is very good. The cabinet is in good shape but has gathered a shallow scuff here and there in its 59 years. It cleaned up well and will display and function nicely. This radio is ready to plug in and and use!
