THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a six-tube clock radio marketed by Sears, Roebuck & Co. under their trade name "Silvertone." It is ivory plastic, and features a Telechron clock with a calendar function (day of the month only, so it has to be reset at the end of most months). There are no cracks, breaks, or chips in the plastic cabinet, though there is a "bump" or small dent on the gold-tone clock surround, at the bottom. The radio has been electronically restored and plays nicely. The clock runs and the calendar works properly. The shaft for the alarm on-off is broken off, though it can be pulled with needle-nosed pliers or even fingernails if you are careful. |
