THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio has become known as the "Ribbon Candy Front" radio from the decorative element on the front panel. It is a post-WWII "All American Five," circa 1947. It is in white or ivory Bakelite (which is somewhat of a misnomer, as all Bakelite was brown, and the "white" or "ivory" ones were simply painted at the factory). There are no chips, cracks, or breaks, and I see only small paint specks missing. The radio has been electronically restored; all the old paper and electrolytic capacitors, and out-of-value resistors have been replaced, and power cord and other components replaced as necessary. About 8-1/2"W x 6"H x 6"D. |
