THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a post-WWII "All American Five" radio, circa 1948, in white or ivory Bakelite (which is somewhat of a misnomer, as all Bakelite was brown, and the "white" ones were simply painted at the factory). I see a few small paint flakes missing on the right side, but there are no chips, cracks, or breaks. The radio has been electronically restored; all the old paper and electrolytic capacitors, and out-of-value resistors have been replaced, and power cord and other components replaced as necessary. About 11"W x 7"H x 6"D. |
