THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a pre-WWII "All American Five" radio, circa 1940 or '41. It is in white Bakelite (which is somewhat of a misnomer, as all Bakelite was brown, and the "white" ones were simply painted at the factory). I see one small paint flake missing on the front louver, and of course there is rub underneath. It has no chips, cracks, or breaks. The radio has been electronically restored; all the old paper and electrolytic capacitors, and out-of-value resistors have been replaced, and power cord and other components replaced as necessary. About 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 6"D. |
