Nice set. Working well and comes with speaker box in good shape. Both radio and speaker box have wear but not abuse. No cracks or chips or dents or hairlines. Plenty of scratches but no rust or corrosion. It does play louder within speaker box with deeper tone. However, no batteries are required for speaker box. This nice set takes a standard 9-volt battery. It picks up lots and clearly.
