THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio is an AC/DC that had a ballast tube in it. Ballast tubes are only large resistors that take up part of the line voltage in the filament line. So, they're hot like an iron. I changed the circuitry so you don't need the ballast tube; the chassis is no longer "hot," so you can't get shocked from touching the chassis and ground. It plays great, is iPod ready, and has push button AM station buttons. |
