| You had one in the late 70's, remember? Well relive the day! This is a twelve-transistor, ten-diode, one-thermistor portable. It works well on all bands and comes with recent DuraCell "C" batteries. It had the standard FM band, AM broadcast, Marine Band (1.7-4.5mc), and two shortwave bands, (4.5-12mc and 11-22 mc). It has been cleaned inside and out, trimmer caps tweaked for better reception, and bandswitch and pots cleaned. Leatherette is very good, chrome is OK, with minor pitting. Had an extending antenna, dial lamp, DX/Local switch, AFC on/off, tone, volume, tuning and fine tuning, and band switch. You can also use an external 6VDC wallwort (not included). No battery leakage or corrosion present. |
