Portable tube radio in a black Leatherette case. Having one of these in 1950 must have been a luxury toy for those interested in both music and technology. The dial on this radio tilts up and powers on the radio, thus the "Tip Top" name. The portable radio can be powered on either AC or DC (batteries). The two knobs are for tuning and volume. Antenna is contained in the popup dial. The radio is working, but has a bit of power supply hum between stations. 11-1/4"W x 9"H x 5"D; weight about 6-1/2 pounds.
