THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This diminutive little Bakelite radio is a collector favorite. Featured in a very stylish brown cabinet, the public snapped these up and they were often seen on nightstands or kitchens as a supplement to a primary radio in the family room. It even has a wonderful Bakelite rear covering. This example is in pristine condition with no cracks, scuffs or other cabinet damage. It displays the original grille cloth and knobs. The cabinet still shows its original shine and will be a proud example to your collection. A prior owner restored the chassis and replaced the potentially dangerous resistive line-cord with a new cloth cord. It plays well and can be enjoyed for years to come. The shortwave-AM band switch knob is on the rear. This set weighs 8 pounds; 10"H x 7"W x 6"D. |
