Cavalier Cathedral (1931)

Cavalier Cathedral (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
I've never seen another example of this tiny cathedral radio. It’s obviously an economical model produced during the aftermath of the recession when consumer interest in radio broadcasting began to soar. Most families were unable to afford much beyond basic living essentials but a small, affordable radio brought daily entertainment and news to your family room for no additional cost. Considering the remarkable original condition of the cabinet, it was obviously a cherished reminder of someone's past. It's been electronically restored and plays very well. This radio weighs 10 pounds; 12-3/4"H x 10"W x 8-1/4"D.
