THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
One of the most stylish radios available at the end of WWII, Western Auto stores sold the dark brown version of this Truetone branded radio like hotcakes. The ivory model is far more difficult to find, so they are quickly snapped up by collectors for obvious reasons. Just imagine this one playing music in the apartment of a newlywed couple shortly after the war ended. Act quickly and don't let this little jewel get away. The restored chassis is exceptionally clean and it plays well. It weighs 6 pounds; 10-1/2"W x 7-1/4"H x 6"D. |
