THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You'll never find another Whelco radio unless you buy this one. The chassis was made by Wells Gardner and branded as a private label for an unknown department store. The cabinet is super clean and cute as a button. I purchased this amazing little jewel directly from the owner of the famous Radiophile collection (Google "Radiophile antique radios" to read more). This radio plays very well because it was restored by the Radiophile master but has the original power cord which is starting to look a bit crispy to me. It would be easy to replace. This radio weighs 5 pounds and measures 9-1/2"W x 7-1/4"H x 5-1/2"D. |
