Stromberg-Carlson 60T Tombstone (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Stromberg-Carlson 60T Tombstone (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I've always found the Stromberg Carlson 60T to be an intriguing design. Shaped somewhat like a streamlined cube, it was like no other radio design. Of course, Stromberg Carlson was universally considered the Cadillac of radios with superior style, build and performance qualities. This radio certainly fits that mold and is a superb receiver. The cabinet and knobs are completely original. There are a few natural scrapes and scratches which I'll happily "touch up" upon request (I personally prefer an authentic original appearance but it's your choice). I'd rate the cabinet a strong "9" on a 10 point scale. The grille cloth is correct. The chassis is incredible and has been painstakingly restored by one of the most talented technicians on the east coast. This big bruiser weighs 30 pounds and measures 17-3/4"H x 13"W x 11-1/4"D.
