Known as the "Philcophone," these devices were sold for the office and even home use in 1937. This one is in amazing original condition in every way. I paid a handsome sum for this little rig a number of years ago. The prior owner was a very prominent radio collector who demonstrated it to me when I purchased it but I've never played with it since. So, it was "running when parked" but I can't guarantee it today. You get the main intercom control unit with original pushbuttons and knobs along with two remote speaker units. This is a "must have" for any Philco lover or just a great piece for any office. |
