Emerson 117 "Butterfly" Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Emerson 117 "Butterfly" Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Emerson collectors sometimes refer to the 117 as the "butterfly" radio because of the gorgeous grille style. This set has a very streamlined Art Deco style with vertical accent stripes on the front along with stunning wood veneer. A prior owner did a nice cabinet restoration and this radio plays quite well with a long wire antenna. I have not inspected the electronic restoration. 15-3/4"H x 12"W x 8-1/2"D.
