Philco came to dominate the radio marketplace in the 1930's with their combination of quality, performance and moderate pricing. The Philco 20 Baby Grand was an instant success and some historians attribute it to making Philco a true sales leader. This radio sold for $68, or $950 adjusted for inflation! Imagine the lucky family spending countless hours being entertained by this fine radio. This example has had a beautiful cabinet and electronic restoration by a very prominent and respected radio collector. It took a long time to convince him to sell it to me but now it's your turn to be the custodian of this outstanding piece of radio history. It plays well with a long wire antenna. 17-1/2"H x 16"W x 10"D.
