Here is an interesting battery operated farm radio from the 1930's. This is an AM only radio. I put my battery eliminator on it, and a separate 2 volt battery for the filaments, and the radio works great. It needs a long wire for an antenna for good reception. The cabinet is solid and the finish is very good.
