| The last of a great breed. The Zenith Trans-Oceanic R7000-2. This is the more desirable Chassis number (2WMR70) with the geared tuning, opposed to the more problematic belt tuning version. This example is as good as they get. it is a completely original unit working on all bands with very nice sensitivity, hauling in many AM/Shortwave stations and very pleasant FM broadcast reception. Dial lights work, no battery compartment issues, Antenna straight and unbroken, no chrome pitting. Logs and Charts instruction book is perfect as well etc. |
