THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Seldom seen, immaculate 1956 Raytheon transistor set. I don't believe one of these has ever been offered on the Radio Attic before. All electrolytics have been replaced with fresh units and receiving extremely well with room filling volume and about 24 stations received during the day here in the Northshore Boston area. I have been careful to retain the originality of the radio and have left the original obsolete battery connection in place place, but I have "tacked in" a new four-"D"-battery holder for up to date operation. The only flaw I can point out is the leather tab for opening the rear cover has torn away as I'm sure most have over the years. |
