In 1980, Philco decided to make a new version of their 1931 Philco 90 cathedral that was called The Baby Grand. It was one of the most popular radios ever made. The 1980 version is very well made and is a major step above the normal reproduction cathedral radios made in the 1980's and 1990's. It plays so well and AC powered by a regular AC cord. No wall warts, batteries or cassette player here. Very nicely made wood cabinet. Plays great and reception is really good. Great addition to your collection. Weighs 6 lbs. Buyer pays shipping. 12-1/4"H x 11-3/4"W x 8-1/8"D. |
