These radios were very popular right after WWII and were known as "picnic portables." They were very versatile as they can be used on both battery and AC. This radio has been completely rebuilt electronically and plays great. The cloth covered wood cabinet is in really good condition considering it is 65 years old and has been on quite a few picnics. It harkens back to another time when people did more picnics. Five tubes. Weighs 9 lbs. Made in USA. 14"W x 10-1/2"H x 5"D.
