This portable was made to compete full on with the Zenith Trans-Oceanic and it did it well. The cabinet is covered with genuine cowhide that does have a few blemishes but overall very nice. Rod antenna is straight and works well. The dial and front face are in fantastic condition. All hinges are original and work great. Has seven bands for your listening pleasure. Lots of shortwave on this radio. Pulls in great on all bands. Has been serviced overall and will work well for many more years. Weighs 16 lbs. Made in the USA. 17-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 7-3/4"D.
