Second chassis brought out with the 1000-D Trans-Oceanic all transistor multi band radio. Chassis number is 9CT41Z2. Has the rigid plastic battery box that is fastened to the back door. At one time the batteries leaked and there is some corrosion on the inside bottom of case. Nine band radio. Antenna is in the handle and is in great condition as is the handle. Chrome is pretty good except on the left hand top side. There is some pitting. This is quite common in this year. Receives AM and Shortwave great. Everything functions as it is supposed to. Also has the phono input in the inside back. This is a great radio. Has charts and logs. Has been serviced electronically. Made in USA. Weighs 12 pounds. 12-1/2"W x 10-3/4"H x 4-5/8"D.
