THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Don't think there are many radios that are more Art Deco than this one. It is an amazing radio. We were blown away by the power and reception of this radio especially on shortwave. It has five bands on the dial, one broadcast and four shortwave covering 530 to 25,000 KC. It has something we hadn't seen before. It has a phono hookup in the back and the middle knob under the tuning knob is for the phono; this is factory installed and is on the Zenith schematic. Has eight tubes. We have completely restored this radio inside and out. Has some surface rust on the transformer but not much anywhere else. Cabinet refinished beautifully. Does have a very nicely repaired patch on side. Original grille cloth and escutcheon. Made in the USA. 18-1/4"H x 16"W x 10-1/4"D. |
