THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
GE's first commercially produced transistor radio. With original leather case and earphone. This radio uses a very strange battery so I have never never been able to test it. The battery is 9 volt and 13-1/2 volts all in one package. It is shown in picture with radio. The ivory cabinet has a few scuffs but no damage. It is a five transistor radio. Be a nice history piece for your collection. The Collector's Guide to Transistor Radios by Marty and Sue Bunis of 1994 prices it at $100.00. Made in USA. 5-1/2"W x 3-1/8"H x 1-3/8"D. |
