General Electric P780H "Long Range" Portable (1965)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Wonderful nine-transistor portable AM radio. Called the "Long Distance," and it does pick up long distance. One of the best sounding and working portables I have ever found. Tone is great. Chrome has a tiny bit of pitting. Grille is excellent. Plastic case is excellent and the battery cover is good. Controls cleaned and set aligned. Chassis is great condition. Handle is good except for the regular crack in the middle. Uses six "D" cell batteries. This radio is ready to play for a long time. This is a heavy radio being the front is metal. Proudly made in the USA. 11"W x 8"H x 4"D.
