OK, this really is called a "Baldwinette" in the Bunis book. Funny name but a super nice original but VERY heavy tombstone. As far as I can find out Baldwin didn't make very many radios. I could only find this tombstone and a high boy console made in the same year. The grille cloth and finish are original. We rebuilt the chassis and it really works great. Has a massive Baldwin speaker that looks like it would be much more comfortable in a console than squeezed in sideways in a tombstone cabinet. This little jewel weighs in at 32 pounds unpacked. Has five tubes and it is in fantastic condition. Only has broadcast band. Buyer pays shipping. 18"H x 15-1/2"W x 10"D. |
