THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
These radios were the personal portables of their day. Before transistor radios or iPods® they were the "cat's meow." You could take them with you anywhere. The first true portable. This radio has an antenna and on off switch in the flip top lid. Has four tubes and is mainly battery operated. These had an AC adapter but I have never seen one. It uses a 67-1/2 volt battery and a 1-1/2 volt battery which are still available. Works well. No battery included due to weight. Cabinet has no cracks or chips. Nice ivory color. Handle is in very good condition. Inside cosmetics are excellent due to the cover being closed all the time. Original knobs. Chassis is clean. Radio has been serviced. 8-1/2'W X 4-1/4"H X 2-1/2"D |
