| This nice original Zenith tombstone works but has not been restored. Faux finish has some checking but still looks nice, and is much better than most examples. The top panel appears to have been refinished and could use more work. Observations: Cabinet is sound and has paper sticker on the bottom. Filter caps and several of the paper caps have been replaced with modern ones. Power cord is a modern replacement; has original knobs and push buttons; chassis is quite free of corrosion; speaker and cone look great. Radio receives stations on two of the bands. I received nothing with any of the push buttons and this feature most likely needs work. Dial turns through entire range. Dial lights work; dial glass is original. This is a very nice radio and would make a great addition to your collection. |
