Crosley radios sold!

Crosley 181 (1934)
(wood tube table radio)

Crosley 181 (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Visually appealing, this superheterodyne would have been state-of-the-art electrically in its day, with six of the latest tubes (2A7...59) and an 8-inch "electrodynamic" field-coil speaker. It works well on the broadcast band; there is another band, up to a bit over 4MHz, that has little to offer nowadays. The grille cloth is a replacement. There is some modulation hum on strong stations. 14"W x 14"H x 9"D.
